"DO NOT USE STATE FARM – THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER I’m beyond disgusted with how State Farm treats its customers, especially Pam at my local branch. After being approved for coverage, they dropped me out of nowhere, claiming I was “ineligible” because of two minor incidents: a fender bender and sliding into a snow drift. These are minor, everyday accidents that happen to countless drivers—nothing egregious or reckless. But apparently, with State Farm, even the smallest mishap is enough for them to drop you like you’re nothing. To make matters worse, they also dropped my wife—someone with a spotless driving record—without any reason at all. She has been a loyal customer of State Farm for years, paying them faithfully and never having an issue. And what’s her reward? Canceled coverage, no explanation, no call, no warning. State Farm pretends to be a company that has your back, but the reality is they’ll take your money, give you a false sense of security, and then throw you to the curb when you need them. They do not value loyalty, they don’t care about their customers, and they’ll screw you over the moment they feel like it. Pam Dillards / underwriting lack of professionalism and empathy is just the icing on the cake. If you’re looking for a reliable insurance company that will actually work with you when life happens, stay far away from State Farm. They’ve shown me that they only care about lining their pockets, not supporting their customers. Situations like this are why people in Michigan choose to drive uninsured. With insurance companies like State Farm treating people so poorly, it’s easy to see why. Don’t waste your time or your money with them—because the second you actually need coverage, they’ll leave you high and dry. Zero stars if I could. Stay away."

I have been insured with them since the beginning of the year, paying $103 per month for my car insurance and an additional $12 per month for my home insurance. However, instead of seeing a decrease in my premiums as expected, my situation has worsened. After six months, I was sent a device to install in my car, followed by a $23 bill threatening to terminate my insurance if I did not pay the additional fees. A month later, I received an invoice for $193 with no explanation and yet another device. This lack of transparency and unexpected charges are unacceptable. I do not recommend State Farm based on my recent experience."
